You can very easily search Muslim names either by meaning or name itself. You will have to only use the green strip (above) to help you search the name. There are three boxes in this green strip

• Search Text Box: In first box, you can write either the name or meaning you want to search. This box is not case sensitive, you can write in it either in capital or small case.
• Name/Meaning Select Box: You can select either "By Name" or "By Meaning" from this box.
• Gender Select Box: You can select either "Any Gender", "Male Only" or "Female Only" from this select box depending upon your search criteria.

There are two methods to search either by name or by meanings, which are explained as follows.

Search by Names

If you want to search the meaning of any specific name, e.g. "Zoufishan" just write down the name in Search Text Box and keep the remaining two boxes as is and click the search button. You will easily get the meaning. Similarly, you can search any male or female name. However to make search results more precise you can select from Gender Select Box the gender you want to search for.

If you do not know the exact spellings of the name, you want to search, just write down the words you think can be the part of that name. For example, if you want to search "Zoufishan" and don’t know its exact spellings you can just write "zou" or "zo" or "fisha" and click search button to get the list of all names having that words in their names and you can easily find the name and its meaning in that list.

Search by Meanings

If you want to know the names with any specific meaning you can do that very easily too. As an example if you want to search the female names with meaning "flower" you can do it in just three easy steps.

• Write down "flower" in Search Text Box
• Select "By Meaning" from Name/Meaning Select Box
• Select "Female only" from Gender Select Box

Then click search button and you will get all female names having flower as their meaning.
